AGES/GRADES: Youth ages 13-18 who require residential treatment and education. Also a Day treatment program for youth ages 8-18 in grades K-12 who require regular or special education.
THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: Individual, family, and group therapy; specialized assessments; educational testing; adventure based therapy, art therapy, outdoor challenge course; day treatment; youth fire setting education intervention, residential treatment program for sexually abusive adolescents, medical and psychiatric services. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy services offered. New Dual Diagnosis Mental Health & Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services with Optum Behavior Health for those insured through RI Medicaid.
THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: Offer opportunity for youth to learn and grow in a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment through a continuum of care with the goal of enabling them to realize and reach their full potential. Services provided using the recovery model as a framework for all interactions with youth and families.
POPULATION SERVED: Generally a clinical diagnosis that includes behavioral, cognitive, developmental, emotional, medical and/or psychological DSM-5 disorders. Able to provide services for youth with complicated medical issues on a case by case basis and also those with severe allergies. We are excited to expand our work with both the gay and transgender populations that we currently serve.
LICENSURE: Residential programs licensed by RI Dept. for Children, Youth and Families, and private and special education license from RI Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education for grades K-12. Also COA accredited.
