AGES/GRADES: Males and females ages 8-22 in ungraded 7 day a week, 12 month a year program. Also a fully approved special education program for males and females ages 8-22 with Prader-Willi Syndrome.

THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: Provide individual, group and family therapies, an integrated arts and art therapy program and community/family reintegration support services. A range of medical, psychological and psychiatric services are an integral part of program. Special focus is also given to building skills and preparing students to live as independently as possible on return to their home communities.

THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: Strength-based approach and evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral, ABA, DBT, and art and expressive therapies. Latham uses Positive Behavioral Supports built around the Circle of Courage philosophy working to build resiliency within each student offering them opportunities for Belonging, Generosity, Independence, and Mastery.

POPULATION SERVED: Individuals who are diagnosed with: Intellectual disabilities and are developmentally delayed (IQ range 50-75); Prader-Willi Syndrome; Autism Spectrum Disorder and any of these in combination with: PTSD, reactive attachment disorder, depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, ODD; or chromosomal disorders such as: Fragile X, Williams, and Cornelia de Lange Syndrome; or hyperphasia and other behavioral and emotional disorders.

COMMENTS: Located on Cape Cod the 4 acre landscaped campus includes: two dormitories; school building with 6 classrooms; an old sea captain’s house with dining room, living areas and an additional classroom, and a clinical building which houses our clinicians and vocational programming. Also one community based off-campus house. COA accredited and approved to accept international students as a SEVIS I-17 approved school.
