AGES/GRADES: Males and females ages 11-18 in graded year-round program. Community based Transition House Program for 18+.
THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: Individual psychotherapy twice a week with psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs and LMFTs; art, family, and recreation therapies, and weekly group therapy. Speech and language and nutritional counseling on an individual basis as needed.
THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: Non-punitive, structured, creative environment with clinical emphasis on contextually based psychodynamic psychotherapy.
POPULATION SERVED: Emotional issues, learning disabilities, NVLD, Asperger’s, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, ADHD, ODD, Tourette’s and other psychological and emotional issues that may go along with these diagnoses.
LICENSURE: Accredited by the NEASC. Approved by CT Dept. of Education and licensed by CT Dept. of Children & Families. Member of The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the National
Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs.
