AGES/GRADES: Girls ages 10-19.
THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: Provide individualized treatment, promoting trauma-informed care and inclusive education.
THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: Programs are informed by the Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) Framework, principles and practices for treating traumatic stress in children and adolescents, as developed by the JRI Trauma Center in Brookline, MA. The ARC model is supported with individual therapy, using additional trauma-informed modalities such as EMDR and TF-CBT. Supportive adjunctive mind/body modalities, such as trauma sensitive yoga and tai chi are incorporated as well.
POPULATION SERVED: Specialize in: mental health and emotional challenges; substance abuse; PTSD; self-harm; suicidality; and educational disabilities.
LICENSURE: Licensed/approved by: State of VT Agency of Human Services, Dept. for Children and Families; VT Dept. of Health, Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse; State of VT Dept. of Education; and Association of Recovery Schools.
