AGES/GRADES: Males and females ages 3-22 in graded and ungraded 5 or 7 days per week, 10 or 12 month per year program; summer program available. Early childhood program birth to 3 years old also available.
THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: Individualized program for deaf and deaf students with special needs. Comprehensive communicatively accessible services available on campus and in community. Mainstreaming opportunities available in cooperation with the local public high and technical high schools.
THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: Varies by program but all programs use American Sign Language and signed English.
POPULATION SERVED: Deaf, deaf with special needs, deaf with autism, deaf with emotional/behavioral disabilities; students who can hear but use sign language as their primary communication mode.
LICENSURE: Licensed by VT Dept. of Education, independent school license; approved by NH, NY and MA; Residential Treatment Program license from the VT Dept. of Children and Families.
