AGES/GRADES: Males and females ages 7-18 in graded 7 day per week, 12 month per year program; summer program also available.

THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: All services and treatments provided are aligned with evidence based practices. Employ state of the art therapies and medical treatments specifically recommended by licensed professionals. Behavioral treatment programs are additionally supported by the use of Applied Behavioral Analysis model, Parenting Enhancement training as well as ongoing evaluations of the efficacy of the program using fidelity measures.

THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: 10-bed family-focused short-term residential program. Program specializes in treating, caring for and helping children with acute, emergent psychological, emotional and behavioral problems. Family supportive in its practices, providing opportunities and supports for families as they are involved with their child’s treatment and prepare for their return to home and community. Employ a measurement system which gives children and family members regular feedback about the child’s progress and readiness for transition back to home.

POPULATION SERVED: Do not automatically exclude any disability, impairment or diagnosis, but commonly work with moderate to severe emotional and behavioral problems; often co-morbid with mental health diagnoses including ADHD, PDD, mild autism spectrum disorders, mild cognitive impairment and learning disabilities.

LICENSURE: Licensed by the State of Maine Dept. of Health and Human Services, Children’s Residential Facility-PNMI.

COMMENTS: Medicaid reimbursed and will work with private insurance to negotiate coverage if available.
