ADMISSIONS: Cathy Sawtelle (Residential Administrative Lead) or Josh Grass (Program Coordinator), 207-454-0322.

AGES/GRADES: Males and females ages 7-19, in 7 day per week, 12 month per year program. Academic Services provided with Day treatment and in the community, with access to trades and vocational education as well as regular high school and college preparatory education.

THERAPEUTIC SERVICES: All services and treatments provided are aligned with evidence based practices. Employ state of the art therapies and medical treatments specifically recommended by licensed professionals. Cognitive behavioral treatment programs are provided within a family focused, family supported mission.

THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION: An 8-bed family-focused, community integrated short-term residential treatment program. The program is family driven and family supportive in its practices. Based upon a comprehensive assessment completed by licensed mental health providers, a multi-disciplinary team works collaboratively with the family to provide an individually tailored set of evidence based CBT treatment interventions. Goal is to provide each child and family a safe and supportive environment with the opportunity to make the changes necessary for a successful and permanent return home.

POPULATION SERVED: For admissions provide constructive programming and staffing to meet the individual needs of the child and family. Common problems and diagnoses include moderate to severe emotional and behavioral problems; co-morbid mental health diagnoses including mood disorders, ADHD, PDD, ODD, conduct disorder, psychosis, mild autism spectrum disorders, mild cognitive impairment and learning disabilities. Children with co-occurring substance abuse disorders also accepted.

LICENSURE: Licensed by the Maine Dept. of Health and Human Services, Children’s Residential Facility-PNMI.

COMMENTS: Medicaid reimbursed and will work with private insurance to negotiate coverage if available.
