CHILD/ADOLESCENT: Program offers services for children in psychiatric crisis.
COMMUNITY BASED ACUTE TREATMENT: Program offers treatment and stabilization in structured residential setting for ages 4-14 who are experiencing behavioral or emotional problems.
MULTIDISCIPLINARY EVALUATION PROGRAM: Comprehensive 2-day evaluation for children who are experiencing behavioral or emotional problems at home, school or community.
CHILDREN’S WELLNESS INITIATIVE: School based mental health counseling services combined with outreach, education and prevention.
SPECIALTIES: Crisis stabilization, autism, depression, anxiety, ADD, OCD, developmental disabilities, bipolar disorder, trauma, strength-based care.
INSURANCE: Most carriers including MassHealth.
COMMENTS: Inpatient program managed in partnership with McLean Hospital of Belmont, Mass. and licensed by DMH. Program has been widely recognized for excellence and in 2008 earned the Dept. of Mental Health Commissioner’s Award and Best Practice Model Program, for its strength-based, family-focused mental health care.
